Mobile Simulated Game Clay Pigeon Trap Systems
The Acorn Simulated Game ATV Quad Trailer is built for simulated game shooting that needs space, variety and real presence in the air. Using two, three or four Navigator traps (AutoClay 320 with the most adjustment we offer), each mounted on its own heavy-duty cross-country quad trailer, the system allows traps to be spread widely across the shooting ground to create genuinely varied and engaging target presentations.
Designed for Flexible Simulated Game Layouts
Each trailer can be towed by a quad bike or car using a standard 50 mm tow ball, making it easy to position traps exactly where they work best — up slopes, along woodland rides, through tight access points or out across open ground. Once in place, the entire system is operated from a single radio control, allowing multiple traps to work together as one coordinated simulated game layout.
Navigator Trap Adjustment and Target Control
Because each trap is a Navigator (AutoClay 320 with maximum adjustment), you can fine-tune height, line and timing to build the exact targets you want, or introduce variety and random movement to keep shooters reading every bird. This flexibility makes it possible to shape targets to suit the ground, the backdrop and the style of shooting you want to create, from wide flushes and long crossers to mixed presentations arriving from multiple directions.
Simulated Game Shooting That Uses the Ground Properly
What really sets the Quad Trailer system apart is how it uses the ground itself. By spreading traps across the landscape rather than concentrating them in one place, you can create simulated game days that feel busy, unpredictable and challenging, with targets appearing naturally from different angles and distances.
Built for Practical Use on Working Shooting Grounds
Despite its scale and flexibility, the system remains straightforward to manage. Traps are easy to move, quick to drop off, and simple to adjust, making it practical for full shooting days, coaching, or regularly changing layouts without unnecessary complexity.

Full Description
Built for Large-Scale Simulated Game Shooting
The Acorn Simulated Game ATV Quad Trailer is designed to give maximum freedom when setting up simulated game across a shooting ground. Using two, three or four oscillating AutoClay 320 traps, each mounted on its own heavy-duty cross-country quad trailer, the system allows traps to be positioned exactly where they work best.
Designed for Real Ground Conditions
Each trailer can be towed by a quad bike or car using a standard 50 mm tow ball, making access straightforward even across tight routes, slopes and uneven ground. Once in position, the trailers can be coupled together to create a coordinated simulated game layout that is quick to deploy and easy to manage.
Flexible Simulated Game Layouts
The system can be arranged in a wide range of configurations, including clustered, converging, diverging or crossing target lines. By spreading traps across the ground rather than concentrating them in one place, it’s possible to create varied, engaging target presentations that feel natural and unpredictable, while still remaining repeatable and controlled.
Simulated Game Radio Control System
Control is provided by the Acorn Simulated Game Flush 4 radio system, allowing individual targets or large flushes to be released at the touch of a button. The real-time speed control dial allows the pace of the targets to be adjusted as required, making it suitable for competitive shooting with up to ten guns while maintaining a consistent and fair challenge for everyone in the line.
The system is also FieldTech radio compatible.
Clay Target Options and Presentation Variety
A choice of carousel sizes and inserts allows Standard, Midi or Mini clays to be used in any preferred combination, helping to vary presentations and tailor the shooting to the day. Power is supplied by a large 85Ah battery mounted on the quad trailer frame, providing ample capacity for full shooting days without interruption.
Practical Simulated Game Equipment for Regular Use
The result is a highly flexible simulated game system that makes full use of the ground, offers excellent coverage, and remains practical to transport, set up and operate.
Optional Extras
- Trap Cover
- Midi 90 insert
- Mini 70 insert
- Mini 60 insert

FAQ
What is the Simulated Game ATV Quad Trailer designed for?
It is designed to create simulated game shooting layouts across a wider area, allowing traps to be spread out to produce varied and realistic target presentations.
How is it different from a fixed simulated game system?
Unlike fixed systems, each trap is mounted on its own trailer, allowing it to be positioned anywhere on the ground. This gives far greater flexibility and allows targets to come from multiple directions.
How many traps can be used in the system?
The system can be supplied with two, three or four Navigator traps, depending on the size and complexity of the layout required.
Can all the traps be controlled together?
Yes. All traps are operated from a single radio control system, allowing them to be released individually, in groups or as part of a flush.
What type of targets can it produce?
The system can create a wide range of simulated game targets, including driven, crossing and mixed presentations from different areas of the ground.
How far can the targets be thrown?
The system delivers consistent throwing performance of up to 130 metres, allowing for realistic distance and height.
Is it easy to move and set up?
Yes. Each unit can be towed behind a quad bike, tractor or ride-on mower and positioned where needed. This makes it straightforward to set up and adjust layouts.
What type of ground can it be used on?
The heavy-duty quad trailers are designed for uneven ground, making the system suitable for woodland, slopes, tracks and open areas.
Can the layout be changed easily?
Yes. Traps can be repositioned and adjusted to suit different shooting days, allowing layouts to evolve without needing a permanent setup.
How many shooters can it support?
The system is suitable for larger simulated game days and can comfortably support multiple guns, depending on the layout and target presentation.
Can different types of clays be used?
Yes. The system can use Standard, Midi or Mini clays, with carousel inserts allowing different combinations to be set up.
